Sex is fun, but not everyone can enjoy. Some people feel sex is a painful thing, both women and men. Why did it happen?

As quoted from FOXNews, Thursday (1/4/2010), erratic pain she felt during intercourse, perhaps due to changes in the position of the cervix that occur during the month. But there are other possible causes, as follows:

1. Vaginal infections
Such as fungal infections or pelvic inflammatory disease can make intercourse painful from the surface to the vagina.

2. Endometriosis
This can cause deep pelvic pain during intercourse, and discomfort. Endometriosis is common in infertile women (infertile).

3. Episiotomy wound
Episiotomy wound is a scar after birth. Usually always painful in the early days after birth, but the pain continued for several months.

4. Drought
This is probably due to lack of stimulation or lack of estrogen after menopause, or when the mother is breastfeeding. This could be felt at certain times of the cycle of women, and tends to cause pain during intercourse at the beginning of penetration.

5. Vaginismus
These are muscle spasms around the vaginal opening making penetration could hardly be done. This is usually caused by psychological factors, and often occurs because of sexual trauma like sexual abuse or rape.

In men, pain after ejaculation or pain in the testes is usually caused by following factors:

1. Inflammation of the prostate gland
Semen from fantasy and dreams that are not removed, can be stacked, pressed glands and cause inflammation. Another factor that may come into play is because of eating too much spicy food, too often biking, horseback riding or sitting too long.

2. Sexual Diseases
Chlamydia, gonorrhea (gonorrhea) and Escherichia coli bacteria can cause pain in the testes. Avoid sexual intercourse if you are suffering from these diseases, because the disease is easily transmitted through sexual contact.

3. Epididymitis
Swelling of the channel that connects the testes with the vas deferens may cause the tender and swollen groin. Other symptoms such as pain during ejaculation or urination.

4. Testicular torsion
Ie circumstances in which the testes or testicles can 'spin free' or much lower than usual. Usually occurs in adolescents. If you experience this, consult a doctor immediately, to avoid the death of the testis.

5. Testicular cancer
Testicular cancer risk is approximately 1 per 250. The symptoms are pain in the lower abdomen or a feeling of "heavy" in the scrotum, the sac of skin and muscle to wrap the testis.
